Q. What is the minimum
age for rental:
A. 21 years is the minimum rental
age with a valid drivers licence issued by your own country.
75 years is the maximum.
Q.How many drivers
are included:
A. Additional
drivers are included in the cost of the rental. All drivers
must be present at time of collection.
Q.When are the
depots open:
A. Mon – Fri
0800 – 1700 /
Sat 0800 – 1600 /
Sunday Closed.Pick
up takes place between 1000 – 1500 /
Drop off takes place between 0800 - 1000
Q. Minimum rental:
A. 7 days is the minimum rental
period. For Class A vehicles it is 14 days and for all Northern
Rentals it is 21 days
Q. Do I need to
leave a security deposit:
A. A
credit card imprint will be taken for CAD$1700 ($1800 for class
A) – refunded when the vehicle is returned on time, undamaged,
clean etc.
Q. Can I bring my
pets:
A. Sorry
but no pets are allowed.
Q. Can I tow anything
or store things on the roof:
A. No.
The Motorhomes are not equipped for towing or for carrying
things on the roof.
Q. Is
Smoking Allowed:
A. No. All of the Motorhomes are
smokefree. Penalties apply.
Q. Am
I able to rent child or baby seats from the depot:
A. No. These are not available
to rent.
Q. Does
the Motorhome come with a CD player:
A. Yes. And an AM/FM radio.
Q. What
kind of gas approximate usage can I expect with my Motorhome:
A. Van 16 - 18l / 100km
C22 - C25 24 - 27l / 100km
C26 25 - 28l / 100km
C30 26 - 29l / 100km
A32 32 - 35l / 100km
Q. Can
I pick up my vehicle on the day I arrive from overseas after
a transatlantic flight:
A. It is strongly suggested that
you pick up on the following day so that you are rested and
ready to understand the requirements
of driving an unfamiliar vehicle.
Q. Do
any of the Motorhomes have awnings:
A. No. The Motorhomes do not come
with an awning.
Q. Can
I store luggage at the depot:
A. You
can but it is left at your own risk.
