Tax:
The rate of VAT tax in Ireland is 13.50%
Rental Opening Hours:
The
office is open Monday to Saturday from 09:00 hrs to 17:00
hrs.
The office is closed on Sundays.
Collection & Drop Off fee of € 150 will apply for collections and drop-offs outside these times.
Collection / Return:
Pick Up is between: 15:00 hours and 17:00 hours.
Pick Up after 17:00 to 19:00 hours is by arrangement only.
Drop Off is from: 08:00 hours to 10:00 hours at the end of the rental.
Drop Off before 09:00 hours is by arrangement only.
Collections and Returns outside office hours 09.00 hrs and 17.00 hours must be arranged before the dates in question. Clients who wish to collect vehicles, before 15.00 hours (no earlier than 10.00 hours) will be charged an extra day at the beginning of their hire. Clients who vacate vehicles later than 10.00 hours (before 16.00 hours) will also be charged an extra day at the end of their hire.
Clients arriving at Dublin airport will be collected and
dropped off free of charge. Please advise your flight details
so that we can arrange collection and drop off times with
you. Please note our pick-up point at Dublin airport. Information
contained in clients booking confirmation.
Please note: that cars can be left at our depot at no charge.
Insurance:
Insurance is compulsory at EUR 29.50 per day.
Collision Damage Waiver (CDW) Insurance is available at EUR 19.50 per day to reduce the excess from EUR 2,000 to EUR 500.
Drivers
must have held a full driving licence for 8 years, please
contact us before booking if you haven't held a licence
for this length of time or are over 70 years of age.
The insurance policy has an excess, that is, clients are responsible for the first EUR 2,000 of damage (This can be reduced to 500 Euro for clients who avail of our collision damage waiver (CDW) insurance). All accidents must be advised immediately. Where third parties are involved, their details must be furnished when the vehicle is returned. Only one additional driver is permitted.
Security Deposit:
The hirer is liable to pay a security deposit of EUR 2,000 (this can be reduced to EUR 500 with CDW Insurance) to cover incidents causing damage. This includes loss of skylights, mirrors, window or windscreen damage, impact with stationary objects, driver negligence, returning late or in an unsatisfactory condition, tyre damage, clutch damage where the clutch shows it has been burnt while driven rather than worn through normal wear etc. The hirer must notify us immediately of any accidents or mishaps that occur so that we may do everything possible to ensure the next client is not inconvenienced.
Cleaning:
Part of the security deposit will be withheld if their motorhome not returned cleaned internally, the diesel tank full and the toilet tank empty and clean of all residues. Out of respect for our employees, we must insist on the above.
Deposit Total:
The
total of the Damage and Cleaning deposits are EUR 2,000.
( this can be reduced to EUR 500 with CDW Insurance) Please ensure that your credit card is sufficiently funded
so that this amount can be authorised
at time of hire.
Fuel:
A full tank of fuel will be supplied, please return with the fuel tank full.
Fuel used will be deducted from the security deposit.
Motorway Tolls:
Due
to the introduction of the new barrier free tolling system
on Irish roads,
all our vehicles have been tagged for all tolls. The rate
is EUR 3 per
day plus Government Tax. This covers all toll roads.

Equipment:
An inventory of the equipment necessary for you to enjoy
your holiday will be furnished and checked with you at
the start and end of the hire period.
Shortening of Rental Period:
If a renter shortens their hire period by more than a week - it may be treated as a cancellation of the whole booking and a re-booking. This depends on when the amendment takes place and how many days of hire are being cancelled. Please ensure you always have travel insurance in place.
Conditions of Supply:
Whilst every effort will be made to supply the model ordered,
we reserve the right to substitute an alternative vehicle
should circumstances dictate.
Standard

It is an important condition of hire that unfortunately,
animals are not allowed in the Motorhome.
Celtic Campervans accepts no responsibility for delays,
which may occur at the start of hire due to circumstances
beyond our control.
Cancellation:
When six weeks notice is given of cancellation EUR 105 of the booking deposit is retained to cover administration costs.
When six to four weeks notice is given the booking deposit of EUR 262.50 is forfeited.
When less than four weeks notice is given, every effort will be made on our part to re-let the Motorhome. Should we be unable to do so, full rental charges will be forfeited. Celtic Campers advise that clients should have their own holiday/travel insurance to cover such loss.
